Professor Deanna Foster has over 10 years of experience in banking, external audit, and government and non-profit accounting. As the former Assistant Treasurer for the city of Worcester, she was responsible for managing the payroll and accounting departments. The city had a budget of over $500 million; as a result, Foster was responsible for spot audits for cash collections to test internal controls, all bank reconciliations, and planning cash flows for debt borrowings. Additionally, as the District Accountant for the Chelmsford Public Schools with a budget of $60 million, Foster was responsible for year-end closing, year-end reporting to the Department of Education, financial software training for district employees, and reconciling student activity funds and federal grants.
