Women in Leadership Scholarship

Every new female student who enrolls in her first class in the upcoming session is eligible to submit an essay to be considered for this exciting $500 scholarship. The Women in Leadership Scholarship is awarded to a new female graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding professional achievements and leadership.


Women earn, on average, just $0.70 for every dollar their male counterparts make with equal experience doing equal work. As an institution, Nichols has published extensive research on the consequences of systemic sexism, and we’ve been woman-led for nearly 20 years.

  • $2,500 per Academic Year
  • Non-renewable award of $500 per recipient
  • 5 Awards Per Academic Year

Eligible Applicants

Non +1 applicants for Nichols College Graduate Degree Programst hat identify as a woman and will begin their degree program in the current academic year.

Using your professional experiences and achievements how have you demonstrated outstanding leadership? Please include any leadership or personal accomplishments that have dignified who you are as a leader and how you will continue to exemplify leadership in your role.

$500 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship

The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarship is designed to support students from historically underrepresented backgrounds to pursue a Nichols graduate degree. All eligible applicants in any of our graduate programs will be considered for this scholarship.

Students who are interested in the scholarship should check the box for scholarships on your application. Your student success coach will help you complete the process.

  • $2,500 per Academic Year
  • Non-renewable award of $500 per recipient
  • 5 Awards Per Academic Year

Eligible Applicants

Non+1 applicants for any Nichols College Graduate Degree Programs that identify asAmerican Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and/or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander.

Students should submit a statement of interest using the following prompt: Please tell us something unique about yourself and why you feel you should be a recipient of a scholarship. This can include your motivations for seeking higher education; your identity; your proudest accomplishments; the impact you have in your community or at school; your personal and professional goals. What distinguishes you from other applicants? Is there anything vitalyou want to share?

Academic Achievement Scholarship – NGAAS

The academic achievement scholarship is designed to support the academic efforts and achievements of our graduate students. Students who have completed at least two sessions in their graduate academic program are invited to apply for the graduate academic achievement scholarship.

  • $2,500 per Academic Year
  • Non-renewable award of $1,250 per recipient
  • 2 Awards Per Academic Year

Eligible Applicants

Non +1 applicants for Nichols College Graduate Degree Programs that have completed at least two sessions in their graduate academic program

Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) Servant Leadership Scholarship

The MSOL Servant Leader Scholarship is designed to support students who serve as stewards of leadership by actively engaging in efforts toward serving the greater good with their time, talent, and treasure.

Funding

  • $1,000 per Academic Year
  • Non-renewable award of $500 per recipient

Eligible Applicants

Non +1 applicants for the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program.
